This is my first attempt at blogging after being an avid blog reader for years. I suppose I should let you all know who I am and what this blog is all about. Well I'm a single girl who 3 years ago bought a house all on my own. I have done a few upgrades here and there, which I will get to showing you all. I almost got to the point where I was about to sell up and take the easy way out with a new build. So close and yet so far. I couldn't bare to leave the house that I worked so hard to get myself and replace with a bland new build (not that all new builds are bland but what I could afford would have been the very basic model). So this blog will be about the trial and tribulations I face turning this house into the home I dream of.
